Lally Bartman House is highly regarded for creating the finest quillwork available today. Lally uses only traditional materials to produce her art, to include making her own natural dyes from plants or bark she personally gathers, usually in the fall of each year. Her style incorporates the influence of Eastern Woodland Indians, yet is very distinctive and original. Typical examples of her work include neck knife sheaths, regular knife sheaths, powder horn straps, leg ties, beautiful shooting bags, and unique quilled knife handles.
