Gary Tucker

Gary Tucker, born in 1952, grew up in Western Kentucky where he spent most of his free time fishing and hunting. Gary built his first "scratch" rifle in 1978 with parts from Susquehanna Forge and he has kept all of his work to longrifles. In 1982 Gary met Hershel House and has since been influenced by not only Hershel but Eric Kettenburg and Larry Gardner as well. In 1989 he opened the Longhunter's Shoppe in Beechmont, Kentucky where he lived until a career change in 1994 and moved to Georgetown, Kentucky. Gary is currently building rifles on a part-time basis with about 2-3 per year. His trademark is his signature on the the barrel.
