Artisan Name | Norm Brilliant |
---|---|
Artisan Category | Hunting bags and powder horns |
Artisan Bio | Norm Brilliant began the hobby of horn making in 1982. Since then, it has progressed into a major effort to recreate engraved powder horns of the period from 1747-1783. Since many people can not afford or find the original works of art, he decided to recreate the horns either through exact reproduction or by applying authentic themes. Some of Norm's work is on display in the Old Barrack's Museum in Trenton, New Jersey in a hand's on exhibit. If interested in more information about his work, send a self-addressed, stamped #10 business envelope to his address. Resource: Muzzle Blasts, January 1994 issue |
