Artisan Bio | Alan Longmire was born in Knoxville, TN in 1970. He was trained as an archaeologist (and still is one professionally) before becoming a blacksmith. He has always been interested in old weapons and metalwork of the trans-Applicachian frontier period in the southeast, ca. 1769-1830. He specializes in tomahawks, but also makes nearly anything else one could want in iron and steel, including longrifles and pistols. |
