Artisan Bio | David Moore, born in 1945, grew up on a rural farm in upstate New York (Canandaigua). In 1968 he built his first long rifle and has added to his skills a variety of 18th century crafts to include shooting bags, horns, knives and trade silver. David currently works on a part-time basis. David has been involved in many educational activities to include 32 years as a high school teacher, survival and self-reliance, summer workshops in native crafts, philosophy and wilderness survival. David has received awards at the Gun Maker's fair for horns and rifles. |
