| Artisan Bio | Natural dying, spinning, weaving of wool from my flock of historic breed sheep. Wool blankets (c. 72" X 90"), hand woven, from naturally dyed, hand spun yarn using all traditional 18th c. techniques. We breed the sheep, shear with traditional blade shears (not electric), use rain water to wash the wool, process with hand combs, spin the yarn, and weave the blankets, tapes, sashes, women's linsey woolsey skirts, aprons, and yard goods. Almost always have 4 -5 blankets on hand for sale. |
