Steven Lalioff, born in 1959, grew up in Indianna. In 1979 he began an apprenticeship with Harness and Saddleshop at Colonial Williamsburg. Later in 1981 Steven began a full-time career. His work includes reproductions of period tavern signs, grotesque jugs, hunting pouches, fire buckets, paintings and other miscellaneous period items. Steven also does restorations on items ranging from powder horns to log cabins. His largest single project was the reconstruction of the fort that Lewis and Clark built called, Camp River Dubois. Recipients of some of Steven's work also includes the White House and more recently the Queen of England. Steven's trademark is S.LALIOFF or SL.
