Artisan Bio | Maker of forged knives, primarily 18th and 19th Century styles and southern style flintlock rifles. Charles began building rifles in 1971 with the help of Jack Rouse. His interest expanded to knife making in the early 1980's. Both rifle and knife making interests continue to this day. His forging techniques and style has been greatly influenced by both Hershel and Frank House. Charles is full time but every so often he will build an flintlock rifle for a change of pace.
