Artisan Name | Tim Weaver |
---|---|
Artisan Category | Hunting bags and powder horns |
Artisan Bio | I attended my first muzzleloading event in 1975 at Friendship, Since that time I have researched different accouterments and have been making shooting bags, powder horns, and other handmade items since that time. My interest has grown greatly over the last few years after joining the CLA and participating in the Lexington shows. After retiring from 43 years as an educator, I am able to devote much more time to this lifelong interest. I have completed 6 longrifles in the past and have continued to compete at the NMLRA shoots in the primitive area for many years. My intention is to continue my research through creating many items used in the 18th and 19th centuries. All items are completely handmade, one at a time and I would appreciate any comments from other members to improve my creations. |
