Artisan Bio | I hand weave heavy wool blankets in the colors and patterns like those in the 1700-1800s American colonial period. I weave them on my looms in my home in northern Minnesota and have been a weaver for about 23 years. About six years ago, I started weaving wool blankets for my husband and fur trade reenactor/trekking friends. I continue to weave those blankets and other blankets for domestic enjoyment as well. I find the early American colors and patterns to be ageless. They have a classic suitability and appeal to living history enthusiasts as well as many contemporary settings. |
