Artisan Bio | My name is Nick Bachtel, and I am a self taught bladesmith from Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. I am 21yrs old and have nearly 3 years of forging experience.. All of my work is inspired by early American craftsmen to present day contemporary artists. I plan to someday hold classes to teach and promote early American bladesmithing. I wish to attract younger folks to the beauty of early American artwork. I enjoy educating and talking about everything knives and history so don't hesitate to ask a question! Most of my work consists of commission pieces and every once in a while I'll post a one off. |
