Artisan Bio | I have been knitting since I was 6 years old. Sewing by hand and machine since I was 10. I picked up Spinning and weaving 30 years ago. Most of my items I sell are Hand-Spun, Hand-Knit and Hand Wove. What isn't Hand-Spun is made from Bartlett 100% wool yarn. I make mostly period correct items. My husband and I set up at over 22 Re-enactment events a year. Primarily American Revolutionary War time period. I knit lots of different styles of Hand-wear, hats, scarves, shawls, etc. I also spin and Weave Linsey-Woolsey material and sew it into period correct Waistcoats, petticoats, shortgown s, etc. |
