Artisan Name | Terry Beevers |
---|---|
Artisan Category | Longrifles, pistols and fowlers |
Artisan Bio | I joined CLA in 2020. I am close to retiring from an Engineering Career. 18th century style wood working was started when I was a teenager working in my dad’s shop. We made post beds, grandfather clocks, farmhouse tables, pedestal tables, and many other types of period style furniture. I have continued this hobby for many decades. Almost 4 years ago I met Ron Luckinbill and started learning the art of making long rifles. I remember my first rifle was scraped and rebuilt 5 times before it was acceptable. I met Jim Parker last year. He is a great teacher and mentor as well. I plan to continue posting Longrifles. Follow my Longrifles and furniture builds on Instagram at Beevers_Longrifles. Thanks for taking time to look at my rifles. |
