This is an 1825 vintage English import lock. Although the photos make the lock look like there is a lot of rust and pitting, particularly on the inside, what you are seeing is mostly dirt, light rust, and dried grease. The lock is actually in very nice condition. I had planned on using this on a North Carolina Vogler style rifle. Length is 4 1/2″ There is a fly in the tumble. Call me at (406) 250-3669
