About a .44 caliber with approx. 10 3/8″ barrel length, including patent breech. Lots of case colors, lots of dings and scratches, evidence of light corrosion on barrel flats cleaned up pretty good with oil. Tapered barrel (.85 to .79). Nicely engraved butt cap and trigger guard. Lock plate, screw heads, hammer, and tang also engraved. Lock functions properly, but hammer missing some metal up in front of the nipple. Good bore with well-defined rifling, fairly bright, but with some darker areas closer to muzzle. Overall about 16″ in length.
