Here is one of my foraging bags made from 2 ounce vegetable tanned calfskin and stained canvas. The front and back leather panels are lined with stained canvas and the canvas gusset and flap are lined with leather. The bag measures 11 1/2″ deep X 12″ wide measured from center to center. The strap is double brass buckled for full adjustability on the shoulder. The closure strap has a copper buckle and I have added a leather flange between the seams for durability. The bag is completely hand stiched with brown linen thread.
