The butt and side plates are Dutch/ Germanic in style
The trigger guard is English import
Stocked in American black walnut
The ramrod is tapered and tipped with horn
All brass is highly polished
The stock is finished with tung oil
I think this is a good impression of a Hudson Valley Fowler showing an American transition and built from parts reclaimed from burn outs and war finds. She’s very sleek for a long barreled 12 gauge fowler.
