I have a recently completed Schimmel style rifle in 54 caliber weighing just over 6 lbs. The barrel is a c weight Colerain 54 caliber at 42″ with low sights. The overall length of the rifle is 56.5″ with a LOP at 14″. The rifle is stocked in curly maple and stained with aqua fortis and tannic acid, sealed with tried and true varnish oil. The lock is an LR Germanic style, and the stock has some simple incised carving.I am asking $1,400 plus shipping, will be shipped in a crate.
