Artisan Bio | Stephen Paulson was born in Upton Massachusetts in 1948. He became interested in muzzleloading firearms at an early age thru the Museum of Firearms at Old sturbridge Village and built his first flintlock rifle in 1986. Stephen builds flintlock rifles, pistols and fowlers with a special interest in early American firearms and jaegers. He works as a gun builder and model maker. Stephen won Best of Class with a first place in carving and engraving at Dixon's Gun Making Fair in 2001. |
