Artisan Category | Hunting bags and powder horns |
Artisan Bio | I began my passion for building longrifles in the early 80's. Working as a Chicago Firefighter, I was only able to build my longrifles on a part-time basis. Finally after my retirement in 2006, I continued my passion as a full time artisan. I spent many nights studying, and learning from videos and books of well-known gun makers. I also attended many Rendezvous events as a historical reenactor. My interest and passion include the complete accouterments that accompany the longrifle.I make hunting bags, belt bags from historical examples, I use quality hide and all my bags are completely hand sewn. My powder horns are custom made, engraved with period correct designs. Contact Thomas Greco at: |
