I began an interest in muzzleloading arms and all aspects of historic gun building in the early 80's. My first career ended during the first Bush administration when national defense was no longer a priority. This prompted a move from Indiana to South Dakota while pursuing my second career as a gun stock maker.
I opened my stocking business in 1996 with two steady customers. Now after making over 2000 gunstocks, mostly for high-grade double guns, I have expanded into historic hand made flintlocks.
