When I joined my husband in fur trade reenacting, I began weaving wool blankets that he would use for trekking. Since then, I have been weaving heavy wool fulled blankets in the style of the colonial home weavers. My blankets are made with two joined panels, in the colors and patterns that are familiar to the colonial period. I have been weaving for about 22 years.
